Poster sessions and Speakers' Corner

As a multistakeholder forest science-policy-practice communication event, the XV World Forestry Congress received and accepted over one thousand diverse voluntary contributions for papers, posters, and videos, relevant to the Congress sub-themes. Over 150 speakers/authors present at the Congress venue were given three minutes each to present their work and had the opportunity to interact with the audience through a moderated questions and answers session. 

Objectives

• To ensure that as many authors of accepted voluntary technical submissions as possible can present their work at the Congress.
• To provide Congress participants with a further opportunity to learn about new and emerging findings. 
• To provide an avenue for active engagement for youth, students, and young professionals. 
• To encourage intergenerational dialogue. 
• To increase opportunities for networking with participants.
