An international boat building consultant who conducted a safety at sea assessment for Cambodia identified that the traditional 12 m wooden vessel typically used in Cambodia for inshore fishing was unstable. RFLP arranged a hands-on training course for boat builders on the construction of an improved and more stable design of wooden inshore fishing boat.
