Safety at sea assessment in the Timor-Leste small-scale fisheries sector.

This report details the methodology, and results of a safety at sea assessment conducted for Timor-Leste. The assessment analysed safety legislation and policy, accident reporting mechanisms and assessed the suitability of the design of fishing vessels donated by different government agencies and donor agencies to fishers. The report provided detailed recommendations to both the government staff, donors and fishers to mitigate against the issues highlighted.
