Webinar on biomass production practices for improving biofuel sustainability

In the last two decades, both production and consumption of liquid biofuels increased 11-fold, driven by public policies that incentivize uptake. With growing demand for biofuels, biomass supply also needs to keep pace, taking into account competing uses of biomass. Innovative practices in biomass production can help to increase supply whilst ensuring sustainability.

Emiliano Maletta, Bioenergy crops Ltd.'s CEO, will illustrate best practices in bioenergy crops in terms of regenerative farming, while Simone Bergonzoli, Council for Agricultural Research and Economics – Centre for Engineering and Agro-Food Processing, will present mechanisation options for improving biofuel production while maintaining social
benefits such as jobs.
