Call for case studies on bioenergy clean cooking interventions

Driving sustainable food system transformation for better nutrition

The Food and Nutrition Division of FAO and The Global Bioenergy Partnership (GBEP) are inviting you to showcase good practices or case studies on bioenergy clean cooking solutions and their intersection with nutrition and health.

We are calling for contributions in the following areas:

  • Operational Studies: Share insights from projects promoting bioenergy clean cooking technologies, including the establishment of sustainable value chains from agricultural residues and wastes.
  • Impact Evaluations: Present evaluations of bioenergy clean cooking initiatives, exploring their effects on women's empowerment, diet diversity, young child feeding practices, and broader nutrition and health outcomes.
  • Feasibility Research: Demonstrate feasibility studies or operational research aimed at implementing bioenergy clean cooking technologies in educational or community settings (e.g. schools), fostering healthy cooking practices and environmental sustainability.

Examples will be given visibility through an FAO and GBEP publication, as well as online events and webinars.

Download the template and guidance here. Please submit your case studies by email to [email protected].

Deadline for submissions: 15 August 2024

We look forward to your participation and to building a healthier future for all.
